Diploma in Basic Education

  • WASSCE/SSSCE with credits in 5 subjects including English and Mathematics

Bachelor of Education

  • WASSCE/SSSCE with credits in 6 subjects including 3 core and 3 electives
  • Diploma in Basic Education from accredited institution
  • Minimum aggregate of 20 for WASSCE
  • Minimum aggregate of 30 for SSSCE
  • Pass in relevant elective subjects for specialization
  • Successful completion of UDS entrance examination

In-Service Training

  • Valid teaching license from Ghana Education Service
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Letter of release from current employer
  • Certificate 'A' or Post-Secondary Certificate
  • Recommendation letter from headteacher
  • Pass in entrance examination/interview
